Hints and tips on accessing the BSL service from your computer.

In order to access the Breathing Space BSL service users should first check that their computer, webcam and internet connection will be able to support access to the service. This check can be done at www.sign-now.com/support or www.speedtest.net

The minimum requirement is 125kbps upstream with no more than 100 ping latency.

We have identified that some callers may experience difficulties in connecting at certain times of the evening when internet traffic may be very high. Callers experiencing this problem should try again later when their internet connection might have higher bandwidth available.

It is not recommended to use 3G systems as a means of accessing the Breathing Space BSL service at this time because of the bandwidth differences across Scotland.
