MacMillan Cancer Support helps improve the lives of people affected by cancer, both those living with cancer and also their families and carers. MacMillan and Breathing Space have been working in partnership over the last 2 years, with the aim of improving the emotional assistance offered to individuals suffering from or affected by cancer.

 

Here at Breathing Space we see this as an exciting initiative whereby various professionals can utilise the Breathing Space service as an additional resource to further compliment other community services. GPs, social workers, nurses and other caregivers can feel confident that Breathing Space is part of their toolkit of resources.

 

The World's Biggest Coffee Morning, MacMillan's biggest fundraising event, is taking place on 30th September. Last year's coffee morning hosts helped to raise more than £8 million for people living with cancer.
