NWR enables women to meet informally in each other's homes to hold discussions on topics unconnected with their everyday surroundings. Promotes friendship, communication skills, builds confidence and understanding of others' points of view. Also run educational workshops and day conferences affiliated to the above activities. Newsletter, correspondence magazine, postal book group, pen friend scheme and research bank for members.
